Write a Paragraph “My Favorite Sport Cricket”
Everybody loves to play games. There are many games played all over the world. Every game should not be everyone’s favorite. One likes football, one like’s cricket, one likes the other game. But my favorite sport is cricket. Now it is a popular game in Bangladesh.
Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two competing teams. This is a 22 yard (20 meter) pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The International Cricket Council (ICC) is the world governing body of cricket.
There are different formats and championships for this game. These are Test matches, One Day Internationals (ODIs) and T20 Internationals. The World Cup is played after every 4 years in both 20 and 50 over formats. Each team consists of 11 players. Each team plays under leadership by a captain. Toss winning captain decides to bat or bowl first. One team scores runs and the opposite team chases it down. We can’t say who will win the match till the last ball of the match. That’s why I love this game so much.
