My Home Town “Joypurthat”
My name is Muhiuddin, and I am from Joypurhat, Bangladesh. Joypurhat is a small district in Rajshahi Division. The name Joypurhat came from King Joypal in 1800 years. It has an area of 965.44 sq km. Joypurhat town consists of 5 municipalities, 32 union and 988 villages. The town has 9,50,441 populations. There are no Traffic Jam and overpopulation like Dhaka. People are respectful and love each other. Their main sources of income are Agriculture. Joypurhat’s economy is mainly based on seasonal crops like rice, potato, wheat, onion, mango, jackfruit, and banana. It also produces a huge amount of sugarcane and it holds the country’s largest sugar mill, Joypurhat Sugar Mill’s Limited. Joypurhat Girls’ Cadet College is a Military high school for girls, located in Joypurhat District, Bangladesh. Cadet colleges are autonomous residential institutions that impart an all round education to the young learners at the secondary and higher secondary level. There are 7 landmarks and 3 nature attractions in Joypurhat. This is more than half of all the tourist attractions listed in this district. I love to live here because the environment is so comfortable and make me always splendid in here. It is my lovely hometown. I feel proud because Joypurhat is my home town. I love this city a lot.
