Verify Free WordPress Blog in Google Webmaster Tools

Google Webmaster Tools is a free web service lead by Google. It helps webmaster and allows to check idexing and optimize visibility of their site and many other opportunities free of cost.

Verify Free WordPress Blog in Google Webmaster question is how? You will be able to do it if you follow my step by step tutorial. This tutorial is for newbie.

You can easily create/register/make your own free WordPress blog in a minute and start blogging. It is important when you start blogging verify ownership of your blog in Google Webmaster. You do not have full permission to upload files in your root directory. So the alternet method will not work for you. You cannot edit the header.php file also. Therefore you cannot apply the <meta> option to verify ownership of your blog with those two method I told.

How to Verify Free WordPress Blog in Google Webmaster:

First log in to  Google Webmaster.  Add your newly created free WordPress site to your webmaster dashboard. Now scroll to your newly added website. It will show not verified (You don’t have access to this site. Verify this site or ask a site owner to add you as a user. – Verify this site) . Click Verify this site now. See the picture bellow.

The next window you will able to find meta code like this

Now just copy this meta code and go to your website dashboard. On your left sidebar click Tools . Find Website Verification Services (?) . 

Now paste that code Google Webmaster Tools inside box see picture bellow.

After that click Save Changes button at the bottom. Now back to your Google webmaster and click Verify button. Wow! you will see the congratulation message. Click Continue. It will redirect you to your newly verified dashboard. See the picture bellow.
