Fire may cause huge damage to our property and lives at any time. A man or woman who fights against the fire and puts out them. We call him or her a firefighter. A fireman and fire woman is familiar figures in our towns and cities. Raja is a firefighter. After finishing H.S.C he joined Bangladesh Fire Brigades as a volunteer fighter. After his training period he becomes a permanent fireman/firefighter. Now he is a full time firefighter. His main job is putting out fires in various areas. When fire occurs at any place he reaches the fireplace with his team in a very short time and puts out the fire. He also trains young people to become fireman and firewoman. Some time he goes to the schools of his area. He sometimes tells students what to do, if there is a fire. It is not his job. It is his hobby only. He likes his job very much. It is a noble profession. A fireman or firewoman takes a risk to save people from fires.
